Monson Tornado Relief

lucia fundraises for the monson tornado relief fund

On June 1, 2011, a tornado swept through western Mass., causing a lot of damage to the little town of Monson, which happens to be lucia owner, Lucy Dearborn’s home town. While thankfully no lives were lost, many did lose their homes, or parts of their homes.

Wanting to give back to the community, lucia lighting held a raffle over the summer, giving away Red Sox vs Yankees tickets and raising more than $10,000 for the Monson Relief Fund.

Thank you to all who bought and sold raffle tickets! If anyone would like to make a donation, you may send it to: Monson Savings Bank, 146 Main Street, Monson, MA 01057, Attn: Monson Tornado Relief Fund
