Gifting of Alexander Knight House

Cummings Architects and a crew of dedicated friends have worked tirelessly over the past few years to build the wonderful 1657 Alexander Knight House. Generous donations of time and money helped make this project possible. On May 2nd, from 12-4 p.m., come by to celebrate the official gifting of the house to the Ipswich Museum, as well as the hard work of all the volunteers involved. The free outdoor event will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony, free tours of the Knight, Heard, and Whipple houses, a raffle with goods from local businesses, music from the Bagwell Island Band, and more. There will also be beverages from Ipswich Ale and food from Ipswich Clambake available for purchase. Ipswich Journey Through Time will be a great community event where history comes alive. Rain date is May 3rd.
