Emer Daly-Kaplan

brings over a decade of design and sales experience to her post at lucía. She was a Manager at Cargo Unlimited where she oversaw all interior design projects. She also managed the store and all interior design clients at Elizabeth Benefiled Orange County in California as well as being responsible for Sales and Design at This End Up Furniture in New England. Along with a passion for interior design and lighting, Emer enjoys cooking, decorating, walking and yoga.

Tell us what you love about lighting: I love the atmosphere lighting creates in a room – one’s whole mood can be affected by the lighting.

Best thing about working at lucía: Team lucía is a “savage” group of people – fun, professional, like family!

Favorite light fixture: Hubbardton Forge Brindille linear pendant/chandelier – I love the workmanship of the carved branches, and it’s just beautiful when lit.

Favorite book: A Child’s Christmas in Wales, by Dylan Thomas

Most cherished song: Have I told You Lately That I Love You? by Van Morrison

Favorite flavor ice cream: Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia
